This Being That Becomes

We are thrilled to announce our newest experimental film, now in production at The Imaginary Project.

Inspired by the Buddhist proverb by Layman Pang: ‘No snowflake ever falls in the wrong place,’ this film is a meditation on destiny, chance, and the beautiful, intricate tapestry of existence.

Filmmaker and artist Mark Nelson will be working with a team from The Imaginary Project to bring to life a dynamic and engaging film blending archival footage, photography, narration & modern digital editing to explore the invisible threads that connect every moment, every choice, and every being.

For the experimental film This Being That Becomes, Greyzone’s score provides a sonic meditation on destiny. Their atmospheric soundscape mirrors the film’s exploration of life's intricate tapestry, sonically asking if every stumble is a step and every being is exactly where they are meant to be.

The photography in This Being That Becomes is the visual heartbeat of its mystery. Through a tapestry of arresting archival and original images, it captures fleeting moments of profound connection, shaping a silent narrative that invites the audience to trace the invisible threads weaving our collective existence.
